Extensively used standard buffer for extraction of high molecular weight DNA (>50-100 kb) from fungi and plants. Applicable for extractions of small scale up to large scale (ng up to g DNA amount).

10x concentrated phosphate-buffered saline solution, pH = 7.4, 0.2 µm sterile-filtered, steam-sterilised.
