Precipitates DNA from CTAB Lysis Buffer (Na+ concentration is decreased to <0.4 M).
After a crude extraction procedure (e.g. chloroform extraction) add two volumes of CTAB Precipitation Buffer to CTAB Lysis Buffer. DNA precipitate is formed within 60 min (RT). Centrifuge and discard supernatant. Resolve pellet (e.g. in 1.2 M NaCl) and proceed with purification.
