For automatic and manual determination without deproteinizing. Improved method by iron sensitive dye Ferene. Without copper interference like conventional iron methods and thereby particularly suitable for automats.
Special features
The reagent buffer contains a particularly high concentration and NO detergent. This enables the buffer to overcome even higher iron-transferrin binding forces and release all iron from transferrin. This is particularly important for species with higher iron-transferrin binding. Incorrectly low iron values are thus reliably avoided.
