Polymer Bead Turbidity Standards are aqueous suspensions of extremely monodispersed polymer microparticles (± 1%) in specially prepared aqueous solution. This guarantees stability over the entire shelf life, even after the bottle has been opened. The suspension is also stabilized against bacterial growth.

The polymer microparticles are non-toxic. There are no special requirements for handling and disposal.
