Counting grid = 9 mm² total area. Chamber depth 0.1 mm. Divided into 9 square groups, each with an area of 1 mm². In the centre square 5x5 = 25 squares, each with 16 small squares of 0.05 mm side length (0.05 mm²).
Two versions available:
- CC.NEUI (standard version)
Double counting grid, dark-line. The grid division can be seen under the microscope as a grid of dark lines. - CC.NEUIB
Double counting grid, bright-line, metallised surface. The counting chambers have a monomolecular vapour deposition of rhodium. The bright lines create a sharp contrast against the darker, metallised background. Possible disadvantage: more light energy required, greater heating, faster drying of the sample.
