Products for veterinary laboratory determinations (vet.-med. in vitro diagnostics; vIVD).

Some of the products in this section are in vitro diagnostics (IVD) for human medicine. These in-vitro diagnostic medical devices are marked as such on the respective product page with the symbols  and . These products are compliant with Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR) of the European Parliament and of the Council or with the European IVD Directive 89/79/EC (Legacy devices) and can also be used for veterinary in vitro diagnostics (vIVD) to the corresponding scope.

These products are partly human medical in vitro diagnostics (IVD), which can be used for veterinary medical in vitro diagnostics (vIVD) to an apppropiate extent as well. Those correspond to the IVD Directive 89/79/EG and are CE marked.

As far as we know, special instructions for veterinary use are given or available on request.

Germany: Any uncertainties about the legal implementation of IVDs for veterinary in vitro diagnostics should be clarified with your local regional council (Regierungspräsidium).
